I demand justice! Allow my champions to fight in place of your knights, Tirion. King Varian Wrynn yells: Our honor has been besmirched! They make wild claims and false accusations against us. Garrosh Hellscream yells: Show them no mercy, Horde champions! LOK'TAR OGAR! Highlord Tirion Fordring yells: Very well, I will allow it. We will show these dogs what it means to insult the Horde. We challenge the Alliance! Allow us to battle in place of your knights, paladin. Garrosh Hellscream yells: The Horde demands justice. Highlord Tirion Fordring yells: Everyone calm down! Compose yourselves! There is no conspiracy at play here! The warlock acted on his own volition, outside of influences from the Alliance. King Varian Wrynn yells: The Alliance doesn't need the help of a demon lord to deal with Horde filth! Come, pig! Garrosh Hellscream yells: Treacherous Alliance dogs! You summon a demon lord against warriors of the Horde? Your deaths will be swift! Alas, you are victorious and must now face the next challenge. Highlord Tirion Fordring yells: The loss of Wilfred Fizzlebang, while unfortunate, should be a lesson to those that dare dabble in dark magic.

Garrosh and Varian get into spat following Wilfred Fizzlebang's summoning of Jaraxxus, which leads to a team of Alliance and a team of Horde facing off in a deathmatch instead of the planned contest against Tirion's Argent Knights.

High Overlord Saurfang yells: You will know our business soon! Kor'kron, ANNIHILATE THEM!Īlso, the tensions following the Argent Tournament's Trial of the Crusader which happened immediately prior led to this. Muradin Bronzebeard yells: Move yer jalopy or we'll blow it out of the sky, orc! The Horde's got no business here! High Overlord Saurfang yells: You answer to Saurfang now! High Overlord Saurfang yells: ALLIANCE GUNSHIP! ALL HANDS ON DECK! Muradin Bronzebeard yells: Not me battle? I dunnae who ye think ye are, mister, but I got a score to settle with Arthas and yer not gettin' in me way! FIRE ALL GUNS! FIRE! FIRE! Back down or we will be forced to destroy your ship. High Overlord Saurfang yells: This is not your battle, dwarf. Muradin Bronzebeard yells: Cowardly dogs! Ye blindsided us! Muradin Bronzebeard yells: EVASIVE ACTION! MAN THE GUNS! Muradin Bronzebeard yells: By me own beard! HORDE SAILIN' IN FAST 'N HOT! When Muradin/Saurfang is threatened by the other, they obviously respond with hostility, both are strong-willed warriors and aren't going to take kindly to a threat. Saurfang wanted to be the one to confront his son, and Muradin wanted to be the one to confront Arthas. Keeping that in mind, going over the dialogue, it seemed to be a point of pride.

Isle of Conquest, Wintergrasp, were both large-scaled battles that happened in lore, and in the leveling experience for both factions, there's a lot of fighting going on.

But when they met each other alone, it rarely ended well. Faction cooperation always happened through a third party like the Sha'tar, Shattered Sun, Argent Crusade, etc. There was frequently fighting from vanilla, and it built up over time. Both factions weren't getting along in Wrath.
